Join Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition for a family-friendly Park & Pedal to the Nikkei Matsuri Festival!Take a short, sweet ride starting at Watson Park and heading down the street to the Nikkei Matsuri Festival in San José's Historic Japantown. We'll bring the music, the good vibes, and free bike lights for a giveaway - all you need is two wheels! Expect the pace to be a casual speed and no-drop, meaning nobody gets left behind! Event Agenda (subject to change):11:00 AM - Gathering begins at Watson Park restrooms 11:30 AM - Depart Watson Park and head toward Nikkei Matsuri Festival - just a mile away! Short and Sweet. We're here for a fun and easy ride to help you skip the toughest parts of the Japantown congestion. 12:00 PM - Arrive at Nikkei Matsuri's free monitored bike parking racks, where bike parking attendants will watch your bike as long as you'd like.
