At the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in the multipurpose room (B1290), the VA Caregiver Support Program is hosting an Annual Caregiver and Family Resource Fair. Connect with VA programs, government agencies and community organizations that have valuable information you can use to help caregivers, Veterans and families. We will feature interactive activities that highlight whole health practices and empower caregivers, Veterans and those in our larger communities. There are almost 5.5 million caregivers caring for Veterans, and 96% of those caregivers are women. 70% provide care to a spouse or partner, and provide care for an average of 10 years. We strive to help our nation's caregivers and are grateful for the critical care that they provide day in and day out. Come join us in the celebration!
