Watching someone fly fishing is like watching an artist at work: the graceful swing of the rod, the arc of the soaring line, the gentle drop of the fly. Lovely to see, harder to master. But in this class you’ll learn the basic principles of fly casting and have a chance to try it yourself on a local pond. No experience is required, anyone over 6 years old is welcome, and if you catch a trout, it’s catch and release….so don't plan to go home with dinner! Please know that the class is dependent on proper weather and may be postponed if necessary. Limit of 8 participants. Local resident Vicky Linville has fly fished her whole life and all over the world. She is a past president and has been a member of the Woman Flyfishers Club for many years, and holds a world record for a Pacific Yellowtail caught in New Zealand. She’s taught people of all ages how to fly fish. You’re next! Private property address to be announced after registration.
