Want to get better connected to the women's cycling community in Colorado Springs? Or maybe you're already connected, but you're looking for ways to share your voice, your stories, your experiences, in hopes that the next female-identifying MTB shredder doesn't have to live through the same things... Well, here's an opportunity for us to commune together, build each other up, take up ALL THE SPACE and do our favorite thing together: ride our bikes! Let's celebrate everything about being a female-identifying, trail-slaying QUEEN on International Women's MTB Day, because let's face it, we're better together!
Meet at the outdoor patio at Criterium Bicycles (pictured above) at 11 AM sharp, ready to ride! We will roll from there on the greenway trails and sidewalks to Ute Valley Park (pictured below), where we will split into three groups based on comfortability on trail (Green/Blue, Blue, Blue/Black).
At 1 PM, we will all gather back at the outdoor patio at Criterium Bicycles to discuss our experiences and stories as female-identifying riders in this sport, what's difficult or challenging for us, and how we better support one another on our journey to make the cycling scene in Colorado Springs the most inclusive and welcoming one on the Front Range! We can't wait to ride with you!
