The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is pleased to welcome David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach to Drum & Strum's Listening Room. David and Bob have been playing together since 2010. Since then they have been traveling the country playing clubs, festivals and house concerts. In concert a musical conversation occurs between David's intense slide guitar and Bob's virtuosic harmonica; together they weave left-coast stories with the emotional abandon of the blues. The show moves from humorous, subversive blues, to delicate balladry, and then swings back to swampy rock and roll. Tickets are $20 and seating is limited so advance purchase is highly recommended. Children 12 and under admitted free with parent or guardian. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8pm. The show is held at Drum & Strum at 102 Main Street. Proceeds will go to the Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance a 501c3 non-profit organization.
