Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month!
On April 23, 2023, as part of Maynard's Week of Trees celebration, volunteers will transform an urban traffic island into a pollinator-friendly, native shade tree, permaculture rain garden with educational signage. The project will contribute to Maynard's Master Plan goals, including storm water abatement, urban heat island abatement, and downtown beautification. Volunteers will plant trees, shrubs, and smaller flowering plants, and install educational signage.
