In virtually every aspect of American life, there's racism built in. Education? healthcare? housing? what and how we eat? You bet. And that's only the half of it. In this first of a series (no, we are not asking you to commit to any or all of the others), we look at some of the particular ways in which this plays out, and in some cases the historical roots that are so hard to eradicate. We'll talk, you listen. Then you talk and we'll listen. This event is brought to you by Racial Fairness Berkshires, a new non-profit dedicated to helping people understand how things got the way they are, the built-in pro-white bias of it all, and what we can do together in Berkshire County to start to replace all that with true racial fairness, making people of all colors better off.
