Evening's Schedule * Pre-Reception: 5:00-5:30pm (white wine & water served) * Panel Discussion: 5:30-6:30pm * Post-Reception: 6:30-7:00pm (white wine & water served) The Curio is excited to announce a new series of quarterly panels to be hosted with Saper Law and its Principal Lawyer Daliah Saper. Daliah Saper is an award-winning lawyer and an expert in the field and with experience including Intellectual Property, Trademark, Copyright and Business Law. Working with Saper Law allows us to add a critical component to designers’ success. While it’s easy for people to see the glamorous side of fashion, the truth is that it’s a business and this is where many of the industry’s most creative individuals get stuck. The first panel will take place April 11th at 5pm at Saper's law offices and is titled “Fashion and The Metaverse.” The panel will feature MOS designer Estefania Galvin who recently showed her innovative Phygital collection at NYFW plus expert advice from Daliah Saper moderated by Curio Team principal Maggie Gillette. Subsequent panels will cover a variety of fashion business topics for the Chicago fashion community. Panels will also include a some of the Chicago area’s creative leaders and up and coming creative entrepreneurs. The events will cover timely issues and industry concerns including how to handle issues that occur as your business grows, a “Shark Tank” style presentation, and a designer round table.
