We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Ammonoosuc River Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 13, 2023. This unique collaborative event debuted in 2022 and was the inspiration of the late Schuyler Sweet, long time Littleton resident, an Ammonoosuc Chapter Trout Unlimited member and community advocate. We’re pleased to dedicate the event this year to Schuyler Sweet. Last year our clean-up day was a huge success, which saw over 80 volunteers come out for a day of fun and made an impressive impact with over 40 cubic yards of debris and trash cleaned up from along the shores of the Ammonoosuc River and surrounding area. 2023 Ammonoosuc River Clean-Up Day Saturday, May 13th - 9am to Noon - 24 Beacon St - Rail Trail Village, Littleton NH There will be family friendly clean-up areas and some larger projects to tackle - truly something for everyone. Kids Activities, Raffle benefiting the Ammonoosuc Chapter of Trout Unlimited, BBQ around Noon for all participants Cleanup begins at Rail Trail Village and extends down the rail trail to Apthorp, Railroad Street and the Parks & Rec. ball fields and courts.
