Sign up for Pierce Downer's Heritage Alliance's 2023 Wildflower Walk at Lyman Woods on Saturday, May 6 at 9:00 AM with a rain date of Sunday, May 7 at 1:00 PM. Intrepid guide Lance Herning will introduce the early spring plant communities at Lyman on a guided tour of the Woods’ more pristine areas. There is no charge for the Walk but donations are always welcome. The group will be limited to 15 walkers. All ages are welcome but please bear in mind the walk is about 1.5 to 2 hours and will cover a mile or so. The group will meet at the Lyman Woods Interpretive Center, 901 31st St. in Downers Grove at 8:45 for a 9:00 AM departure. Refreshments will be served after the walk. Hope to see you there!
