You are invited to a PLANTING PARTY in celebration of Semillitas Outdoors, a week where we celebrate Latinx children and youth in the outdoors! Join us for a fun day of community -building while doing something great for the Garcia Center for the Arts' community garden and the local environment. The Garcia Center will lead a workshop to start specific seedlings that include tomatoes, jalapeños, eggplants, cucumbers, and zucchini. There will also be FREE face painting, story time, lunch and PRIZES! Bring your familia and spread the word! Space is limited, so register soon! Please keep in mind: Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please honor your reservation, and if you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, take a moment to cancel your reservation so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly.
