Growing up in a house where the melodies of old records constantly filled the air, the Southern California-born artist began absorbing music at an early age. She developed a deep love and appreciation for music of all genres ranging from indie rock, classic, to 90’s rock, from hip-hop to punk and everything in between. But it was within the Los Angeles underground dance scene where Tara ultimately found her calling, struck by the power of the music and the loving vibe of the scene. Becoming a DJ sparked the inspiration to express herself through her own productions, driven by the ethos to heal others through sound and take her listeners on an experimental & innovative journey. Tara began her production path learning with friends & over the years her hard work, experimentation, and risk taking created the unique sound she shares today. This perspective allowed Tara to build an incredibly diverse infrastructure. Her productions have tremendously evolved, as has her eclectic taste. Her sets take a unique journey through all sorts of sounds: from psychedelic, soulful sexy house & disco funk to the heavier side of acid techno, trippy and hypnotic grooves, breakbeats – and everything in between.
