The Black Liberation Fund is a nonprofit organization operating under an abolitionist theory of change. In our current programming, we invest in supporting those harmed by the prison industrial complex through our education, resources and care support. Justice Weekend is three days of events that will capture the essence of the Black Liberation Fund Mission: to alleviate obstacles and hardships that the stigma of incarceration brings to Black families and incarcerated persons through an abolitionist framework offering direct services, education, advocacy, and resources. 1. The Minority Business Tour will a pre-planned loop around the city, will help bring awareness to the business’ location and history and serve as an access point to receive literature and/or resources pertaining to all “Justice Weekend” events. 2. Justice Village will provide 2 days of uninterrupted education, connection, and community. This family-oriented event will encompass supporting businesses in our community while educating the community. 3. 3 Years Strong Gala is a special evening event focusing on celebration and fundraising for BLF. This impactful finale will feature special guests and live entertainment. Imagine your company’s name co-branded with Justice Weekend 2023!
