About this Nature Fun-Day: Come Celebrate Earth Day at Polk’s Nature Discovery Center with a special Nature Fun-Day Event! This Nature Fun-Day is dedicated to celebrating our planet Earth and its natural resources. Celebrate with learning, service, and fun. Activities include, hands-on crafts, informational booths, games and more! Bring your family or come with a friend.
In addition to our normal event, we will be hosting several service projects around the reserve, such as, invasive plant remoals and litter roundups.
Date & Time : Saturday, April 22nd,
9:00am- 11:30am: Invasive Plant Removal9:30am-12:00pm: Nature Fun-Day Activity Booths10:00am-12:35pm: Litter Roundup Challenge Location: The flexi-pave trail leading out from the Discovery Center. Around the picnic pavilions. See map below. (If rain is forecasted the morning of the event, stations will be move into the Nature Center.)
The Invasive Plant Removal will occur around the Nature Center and the Litter Roundup will occur all throughout the reserve.

Tickets & Sign-Ups: No sign-up required, but is highly recommended to help for planning purposes.
