This Youth Leadership Conference is being coordinated by the Second District Conference and the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. It will be held at the Kaufmann Center which is located in the Historic Hill District on April 22, 2022 from 8 AM - 1 PM. This FREE conference is designed specifically for Black Males who are in the 11th and 12th grades within Allegheny County. It is an outstanding opportunity for these young leaders to be empowered and inspired by African American men from NY, NJ, PA, DE, and MD. The topics will focus primarily on mental wellness, financial literacy, career exploration, and peace making. Interactive sessions will provide opportunities for the young men to reflect and set goals. There will also be a youth-led dialogue that empowers young men to be leaders and game changers within their respective communities. Participants will also have the option to be included in future programs and opportunities coordinated by the Iota Phi Chapter and the Iota Phi Foundation of Pittsburgh. Note: This Youth Leadership Conference is part of the 75th Second District Conference hosted by the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. from April 20 - April 23, 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA. This regional conference is expected to draw over 1,000 members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. from the five states of the Second District (NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD).
