MELOA continues to build strong relationships among the community and law enforcement, while also providing opportunities for students to learn the benefits of public service. Building on this message, this year's theme is "Connect, Engage, Protect”, emphasizing on strengthening partnerships and communication to protect our communities. Training begins promptly at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 with the presentation of colors. As always, we welcome all federal, state, local law enforcement and to join us for our conference. The conference is open to local, state and federal law enforcement and homeland security professionals in addition to local community members interested in fostering positive relationships with government and law enforcement organizations. Lunch will be provided both days and is included in the price of admission.
