Watered Down Art + Healthy Eats Nutrition Instructors: Aislinn Hematyar Kalstad and Elaina Moon Come join us for a this fun new Persian class taught by Aislinn if Watered Down Art. These dishes will impress at group gatherings or enhance any weeknight dinner with the fresh and unique sides dishes from Iran. Aislinn will share some of her favorite family foods along with dishes she’s discovered while living away from her Persian family and friends. Persian culture is all about generosity, especially in relation to food and hospitality. Add to your culinary and hosting skills in the upcoming Perfect Persian Sides and Bites class! I’m Aislinn Hematyar Kalstad, a local artist who regularly teaches about and shares my love of art, but this time I’m switching topics and focusing on Persian cuisine! Being half Iranian, I’ve had the good fortune of experiencing these foods throughout my life made by family and friends but after moving to Yakima and realizing I couldn’t find these dishes anywhere locally, I began cooking them at home for my husband and I.
