For: rising 8th-10th graders Maximum participants: 16 Interested in learning more about the healthcare field? Hear from a variety of experts in the field what it is like and participate in activities such as Stop the Bleed, how to take vital signs, first aid, diabetic simulation and more! This camp is sponsored by GO Virginia and taught by Averett University nursing students, Danville Life Saving Crew and Sovah Health. **This camp is from 8:30-3:00 and meets in downtown Danville. 512 Bridge St., Danville, VA 24540** When you register, you will receive an email with required camp forms attached within three business days. These must be returned within five business days of receipt of the forms or you may lose your child’s spot in camp. This will be enforced to be fair to students on waiting lists as many camps quickly fill up. IALR reserves the right to cancel any camp. If a camp is cancelled, electronic notification will be made to all paid registrants. Registration for each camp will close one week prior to the start date.
