The Thomas Jefferson High School class of 1973 is gathering to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our graduation. A full weekend of events has been planned to make the most of our time together again. Come early to enjoy a dinner with old friends and beat them at a rousing game of golf the next morning. Don't miss the main event Saturday, when we all come together for an evening of food and fun. And if you can, stay for brunch the next day! All events are independently ticketed - come to one or come to them all. Pay at the door. Cost: $28 for the rounds and $19 for the golf cart, for a total of $47. Pre-registration through EventBrite required. $55 single ticket or $100 per couple, plus EventBrite fees of between a little less than $5 for single tickets and around $9 per couple. Join us for the main event! The evening’s schedule follows. 5 pm: Appetizers, Cocktails & Registration 6 pm: Salad Bar opens 6:30 pm: Dinner Served* 7:30 pm: Dancing! Dinner will be a smorgasbord of Italian sandwiches salad, pasta, antipasta, plus dessert. Cash bar We'll have a DJ spinning your favorite tunes all night long and a photo booth to capture those special moments with your fellow classmates. We definitely encourage dancing, laughing, reminiscing and good-natured ribbing throughout the evening. ‘Til We Meet Again Brunch on Sunday, July 9th, 2023 from 10 am to 12:30 pm Thunder Bay Grille7652 Potawatomi Trail Rockford, IL 61107. It’s so hard to say goodbye! Linger a little while longer and enjoy a brunch with old friends. The menu features Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cheddar casserole, waffles, fried chicken, fried shrimp, sweet and sour pork, and much more. This event is optional. _______________________________________ Hotel: While we won't be setting up a hotel block for out-of-town classmates this time, we encourage you to coordinate your travel plans so you can add informal hotel time together to the weekend.
