A loungy, rockin', swing dancin', cha-cha-ing daytime formal for our Tri-City active adults! We will combine the glamor of a late 1950s cocktail social and the energy of a rock n’ roll TV “Bandstand” record hop dance party, with plenty of dancing, an optional potluck, and snacks to keep our Union City, Newark, and Fremont seniors moving in the late afternoon as Bay Area swing dance instructor Mike Quebec spins some vintage 1950s and early 60s doo wop, rockabilly, lounge, and exotica, so you can bop, strand, n’ twist the day away. We’ll also be providing a beginner friendly East Coast Swing “jitterbug” lesson before the record hop, ya dig?
