As the founder of MANA COMICS, Chris has brought to life superheroes that embody the unique cultural and ethnic diversity of the Hawaiian Islands. Chris grew up on the island of O'ahu and is a full-time Police Officer with the Honolulu Police Department. Drawing and writing in his free time, he was able to make his lifelong dream a reality and create MANA COMICS. Chris will be sharing his journey and offering an insider's perspective on the creative process behind comic book creation, character inspiration, and so much more at the Academy for Creative Media at 11:00 AM.
