The minimum age to volunteer for this opportunity is 10 years old. Chaperones are required for individuals age 10 to 15. Join the GRPC and San Jose Downtown Association as we work to clean up Arena Green and the Guadalupe River Trail for Earth Day! We know that you are eager to help the park, please join us as we practice safe measures of volunteerism. Event brought to you by the generous support of One Tree Planted. We will be adhering to State and County Public Health Recommendations and guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. Please check the Santa Clara County Public Health Department's COVID-19 Guidelines for the General Public for the most up-to-date regulations for outdoor settings. Please note that: Volunteers must abide by all rules mentioned in the pre-cleanup safety talk, failure to adhere to these rules may terminate an individual's right to volunteer at this eventPlease bring a full water bottle as the water fountain will be unavailable for use at this timeRestrooms will not be readily available for this clean up, please be sure to use the restroom prior to attending this eventVolunteers are asked to arrive by 8:45 AM for a contactless sign-in, workday instructions will follow. Please arrive on time as the safety discussion will begin promptly at 9:00. School groups or corporate teams must contact the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule events. We will be meeting in front of the Carousel in Arena Green to distribute supplies and to go over safety rules for event participation.
