IFF is thrilled to present a Screening of YOU RESEMBLE ME + talkback with Producer Elizabeth Woodward, Director Dina Amer, and Executive Producer Marni Grossman. Telling the story of two sisters torn apart, You Resemble Me tells the powerful true story of Hasna Aït Boulahcen- wrongfully believed to be Europe’s first female suicide bomber in 2015. Exploring themes of feminism, family, trauma, and identity, Dina Amer made her directorial debut with You Resmble Me which premiered in Venice and won over 30 awards.
