Prepare for the unexpected with this engaging, hands-on introduction to wilderness medicine, taught over two days. This is a great 2-DAY course for anyone who recreates outdoors whether you are family camping, scouting, canoeing...even solo hiking. People of all experience levels will learn Wilderness First Aid, CPR/AED and patient assessment through hands-on learning. At the end of the course you will know to to provide effective first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses common to outdoor activites, plus how to make evacuation decisions when medical help may be hours away. Can't join us this time? We host public and private courses for groups. We're happy to host a course at your location. We serve most of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Please contact us for details! Class is 18 hours (with breaks). You must attend both days in order to receive the certificaiton. Ages 16+. Cost includes instruction, hands-on learning, supplies, materials and your certificate. SATURDAY, MAY 6 | 8:30AM - 7:30PM SUNDAY, MAY 7 | 1:30PM - 7:30PM Important: You will receive certificate 2-5 business days after class. Certificate is good for 2 years.
