The 2023 Startup Challenge brings out the best and brightest student entrepreneurs from across the Penn community, highlighting numerous ventures with students representing five of the university's twelve schools. Come and watch our eight Finalists compete for a slice of more than $300,000 in cash and in-kind prizes to help launch their ventures! The 2023 Startup Challenge now includes the Summer Venture Award with 9 awards at $10,000 each, and 12 other unique prizes and awards such as the Ashton Family Award for Female Founders, the Launch Award, the AI For Business Award, and more. Vivek’s career has spanned more than two decades as a serial entrepreneur and engineering executive. Prior to joining Eventbrite, he served as Chief Technology Officer for RetailMeNot and also held leadership positions at Amazon, first as the chief technology officer of Woot.com, an Amazon company, and then as the global head of product and engineering for Amazon Business Procurement Solutions.
