Este 23 de abril, viviremos una emocionante caminata en raquetas de nieve (snowshoes, que son ajustables a cualquier medida de pie). Exploraremos la belleza del paisaje invernal en el Bosque Nacional de Mt. Hood, por un sendero nevado de impresionantes vistas hasta llegar a la cascada de Tamanawas, con 46 metros de altura, rodeada de espectaculares formaciones rocosas y de un bosque con abetos y pinos. Esta caminata de 3.4 millas es considerada fácil-moderada. Tu boleto de $55 incluye: transporte, caminata guiada en el Tamanawas Trailhead, uso de raquetas de nieve (snowshoes), toma de fotografías y mucha buena vibra. Al finalizar nuestra aventura en la nieve, Vive NW agradecerá tu compañía con ricos tamales, para disfrutar el fin de esta la temporada invernal. We will explore the beauty of Mt. Hood National Forest’s snow swept landscape while snowshoeing along a picturesque trail defined by breathtaking views until we reach Tamanawas Falls. This waterfall is 100 feet high, surrounded by spectacular rock formations, and a fir and pine forest. This 3.4 mile hike is considered easy-moderate difficulty. Your $55 ticket includes: transportation, bilingual guided walk on the Tamanawas Trail Head, use of snowshoes (all sizes available), professional pictures, and a lot of good vibes. At the end of our adventure in the snow, Vive NW will celebrate all of our participants and the end of this winter season with some delicious tamales.
