Description

In partnership with Miami-Dade County, The Carrie Meek Foundation, will offer $8.7 million to fund gun violence response efforts through the Support Safer Communities Program (SSC). The grant program will support interventionists, survivors and community-based groups, agencies and organizations that strengthen gun violence prevention networks and expand access to resources within communities that can help reduce violence. Nonprofits, grassroots groups, residents, small neighborhood-based organizations, faith-based organizations, civic institutions, and other community-serving organizations are eligible to apply.
