Period OKC is excited to announce that in collaboration with community partners, the first-ever event to bring together advocates and activists for menstrual health and equity is taking place this spring in Oklahoma City. This event will bring together groups of individuals in the menstrual equity space in order to build a strong foundation for action. We will be discussing menstrual equity and the intersectionality of poverty, race and access to healthcare and sex education. The intent of the event is to build a network that provides a space to share resources, data and ideas. The Period OKC Foundation, EIN 87-2195765, is a 501(c)(3) non–profit organization established in 2021 to provide menstrual products to people while raising awareness of period poverty and working for menstrual equity in Oklahoma.
