Jelly Anne & That's My Jam Productions + Fat Seattle Social Club are SO PUMPED to bring you another PLUS SIZE SWAP & SELL! ONE DAY of plus size-specific swapping & selling of clothing and accessories for ALL plus size bodies! Doors will open at 1 pm for swapping and selling. TO BE ANNOUNCED: 2 special surprises! Come and be in community with larger-sized bodies shoppin' and swappin' and hangin' out at the (almost) end of spring! NOW ACCEPTING applications for vendors. If you have clothing, either original or re-sale, newer or vintage, as well as jewelry, art, shoes, and accessories, we want you! Please use this Google form to sign up: https://forms.gle/za8bpuKZsEycj3BR6 There will be a separate area for swapping clothing, shoes, and accessories. *For our swap, priority to marginalized, low-income, and QTPOC* This is an indoor event, and masks will be required for the health and safety of our vendors and attendees. If you are feeling under the weather, please stay home and join us next time! The Cherry Pit is on the ground level, with bathrooms on the same level. Swap information: For the swap portion of our swap and sell, we suggest that you bring with you a reusable bag to bring in your items and if you can, some hangers for them. You'll use the same bag to bring home your new treasures! Please group items by size, and if there are items in that size already, begin grouping by item type (tops with tops, bottoms with bottoms) within that size. Instead of tokens, or someone "monitoring" swapping, we will be doing this on the trust system- feel free to bring home whatever speaks to you, what will fit, and what you will wear! This isn't a 1:1 exchange, but the hope is for folks to bring in a couple of items and to find at least a couple of things they're excited to wear! In terms of the number of items, feel free to bring in between 2 and 12 items to swap. Please make sure that the items you are bringing are free from (unintended) holes, rips, pills, or stains and are in 'give' ready condition. If you've got some pieces that are just lil' wounded birds, such as it's something that is just missing a button and you don't wear it anymore so haven't bothered to re-attach it, cool, bring in the item and the button too, and you're good to go. If you find yourself with more than 12 items, just contact Jelly Anne at [email protected] and it can be determined if it's doable (it most likely will be). While there are 2-3 places we can donate un-swapped items from this event, the purpose for the swap & sell is to *swap or sell*. If you are more inclined to donate the items that do not give you joy, please feel free to donate your items directly to an organization dear to your heart.
