Light Emitting Diodes or LEDs make excellent and inexpensive indicators and displays for your electronics projects. They are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors and can be powered by low voltages, making them ideal for battery powered devices. Control LED strip lights using your phone! Instructor bio: Tony Baltazar ([email protected]) has been teaching Arduino and related classes for 4 years. He has made my projects using Arduino including a garden management system, a boat race timer, color changing light sabers and many more awesome things. Important Information  COVID-19: Too keep everyone safe; masks and social distancing are encouraged at Makerspace. Maximum class size has been reduced to allow for social distancing. Ages: 12 and up Class fees: All class fees include materials. If you are a current Bellingham Makerspace member or scheduled volunteer you may select the discounted member registration. Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable).
