Mission: Drip Rhythm is a dance revolution inspiring movements for holistic change. Each dance is co-hosted by various community initiatives doing revolutionary work at the intersection of systems transformation, ecological justice, and raising consciousness . Dancing at these edges, we potentiate social alchemy, galvanize community action, and weave individual sovereignty with collective solidarity. The revolution will not be televised, but it will be DANCED! Call To Action: Colorado is currently the epicenter for the psychedelic movement. A fledgling medicine movement is emerging with people working with plants and mushrooms to innovate sacred economies, co-create regenerative solutions, and build the capacity for community sovereignty around responsible medicine stewardship. Corporate interests loom to co-opt and create a commercial industry for psychedelics and psychedelic services. New intersections for solidarity and synergy are being potentiated at every juncture in between these worlds. And on May 6th, the end of Colorado’s 2023 congressional session, the first round of implementation for the most robust psychedelic policy reform in the country, The Natural Medicine Health Act, will be completed. A bill sponsored by the President of the Colorado Senate, Steven Fenberg, will amend and begin the implementation of this new statute Coloradans recently voted into law. On the chopping block are the personal and communal protections outlined in the law’s ‘personal use section’. Through introducing numeric limits to possession, the legislature will effectively recriminalize people growing, gifting, and communing with medicine in community… opening the door to increased policing, especially among the most vulnerable, and stifling our recently reclaimed right to steward medicine ourselves within community. Along with reclaiming rights, we also must reclaim responsibility in creating sacred medicine economies and protecting our ability to do so. Right now, in Boulder and The Front Range, we have a unique and powerful opportunity to not only defend our rights and the rights of all Coloradans, but to also to begin to work cooperatively between communities and social sectors to proactively create vibrant models for community-based medicine stewardship that can proliferate and adapt regionally. Right here, right now we have an opportunity that exists nowhere else to shape the future in partnership with the land, the plant and mushroom medicines, and in community communing in unity. Let’s come together for a night of movement medicine in devotion to our medicine movement!
