One Shot Memorial Organization has been given a call by God to strengthen the whole family. During this 2-hour event, we will focus on womanhood and unpack our monthly cycles from a spiritual and natural standpoint as well as how to properly care for our bodies during this time. While some topics to be discussed are unconventional, they are indeed necessary! Grab a friend and join us Saturday, April 29th at 3 p.m. This event will be held outdoors "Afternoon High-Tea" attireThis will be an event you do not want to miss!!! ***Lunch will be served and each young lady in attendance will receive a tote with feminine hygiene products. Meet Our Speakers Dedra Birts, an apostolic and prophetic teacher with over 30 years of experience in ministering spiritual gifts, ministry of deliverance, and breaking generational and bloodline curses! She will kick off the sessions with "My Period: Where is God in this? Dedra will take us through the time that the curse was placed on Eve and bring us up to date on how we can live free in Jesus! Leslie Creekmur, an Educator, a Licensed Christian Counselor, and Doula in training, her session entitled, "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" will unpack puberty, hormones, and the developmental process for young ladies ages 8-18! Sonya Taylor, a registered nurse of 21 years and host of "Unapologetic Faith" Podcast will speak to us on the topic, "What's that smell?" Using her experience of being bullied during the onset of her cycle in her tween years and how the Holy Spirit helps her in continual healing from the effects of that time. Alexandria Montgomery, a Doctor of Nursing, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, and midwifery, will dive into the topic of "What is a monthly cycle and what happens at each phase?" Also, she brings to the table from her medical practice: what to do about heavy bleeding, hormones and their effects on our cycles throughout life! One Shot Memorial (2021), founded by Dr. Carita Curry, is a Christian organization founded exclusively to serve youth and their families in humanitarian efforts and community outreach programs.
