Moon Tree Arts director, Matthew Celmer, will give a presentation designed around Thomas Berry’s magnum opus, “The Great Work.”  Berry was a Catholic priest, cultural historian, and scholar of the world's religions, especially Asian traditions. Later, as he studied Earth's history and evolution, he called himself a "geologian". Berry’s term for our current task at hand for the human species was designed to help facilitate the global transition to the Ecozoic Era, a time of mutually enhancing relationship between Earth and humanity.  Matthew will introduce Thomas Berry and his work and discuss what is meant by “eco-spirituality” and how that fits into the Great Work.
