Heart of Texas Shooting Center is proud to host our 2nd Annual Anniversary Shooting Competition! We welcome shooters of all levels of experience and ability to come join us for this fun, family opportunity to test your skills and enjoy spending time with other people who enjoy the shooting sports. The six classes for the event are: Junior Rimfire Rifle Bullseye - 17yo and UnderRimfire Rifle BullseyeRimfire Pistol BullseyeOpen Pistol BullseyeDefensive RifleDefensive PistolThe basic rules for the event are: All classes, except Junior classes, are open to anyone 18ears old and over. All classes are shot unsupported (no benches/rests), and from a sitting or standing position. Rimfire classes allow only open (iron) sights, and .22LR or other rimfire caliber.Open and Defensive classes allow any optic, and any caliber firearms, subject to range limits.Braces/stocks may not be used for pistol classes. (Exception: if necessary due to disability, a brace may be used if it is strapped to the forearm. Braces cannot be used to shoot from the shoulder.)Braced pistols and or short-barreled rifles (SBR) may be used in the Defensive Rifle class.
