Welcome to the second stop of the Melanated Yoga Pop-up Tour!!! Come join BLK Directory Inc. and yoga teacher, Tiffany Rothe on Apr 8th for our yoga event. Here we will give black people a space to: Network and build community Release stress, tension, and anxietyCreate habits of health and wellnessYou will have an opportunity to start your journey to feeling more stress-free. This will be an opportunity that you don’t want to miss! So grab your yoga mat and meet us at Wild Heart Yoga Studio. There is free parking onsite. The studio has parking available in front of W.H.Y and a parking lot behind the studio. To enter the lot behind the studio, take the driveway into Westlake Medical Center, stay right and you will see our gate. Please note that absolutely NO parking is allowed in the Westlake Medical Center lot. THEY WILL TOW before 1pm. Other things you should know: Water will be provided along with light refreshmentsEveryone will receive a giveaway bag We will be highlighting black business vendors at this event #buyblack #supportblackownedbusinessSession Details The session will be beginner-friendly and all levels are welcome. This class is a 45 min-1hr practice to help set the foundation for consistent yoga practice and then a 30-min mixer to follow. First, we will practice breathing techniques to help ease the mind and calm the body. Our flow will focus on building strength, flexibility, and awareness with some foundation yoga poses. This class is great for beginners and anyone wanting to practice mindful movement. This event is for adult men + women 21+.
