The inaugural Flying Colors Charity Fun Run strives to create a spring fair atmosphere in the Triad where families, friends, children and teens can come together to have fun for a good cause: To raise funds to support area charities to increase their capacity to help families overcome financial hardship. Saturday, May 6, 2023 | 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Rain or Shine Oak Ridge Town Park | 6231 Lisa Drive, Oak Ridge, NC Runners and walkers will enjoy an untimed one-mile course with scenic views and the option to be doused with colored powder (harmless dyed cornstarch) several times throughout the event.
