Please join us for a free Community Meeting for Lake Sonoma Fire Resilience on May 16 from 4 pm - 7 pm. We will be bringing together a wide range of leaders in the Lake Sonoma watershed to share emerging fire resiliency best practices and lessons learned, deepen relationships, and assess the next best actions to accelerate fire resiliency in the critical Lake Sonoma watershed. This meeting will include speakers, community dialogue, tables and exhibits, and the opportunity to meet and talk with your neighbors about fire resiliency. We will be inviting these groups to join this community meeting Residents, farmers and ranchers, business leaders, and land managers who live or work in the Lake Sonoma watershed in Sonoma CountyTribal and Indigenous leaders who have ties to the Lake Sonoma watershed or an interest in learning or sharing about cultural burning practicesLocal and state agencies, universities and colleges, and NGOs with an interest in fire resilience and in the Lake Sonoma watershedAll who care about fire resiliency in Lake SonomaInterested in becoming an event sponsor?
