This course focuses on the history of zines and zine making techniques on a budget. The class will examine self-published works and students will develop a minimum of 3 different zine concepts during the week, one of which will be created in multiples. Basic art supplies (pencils, pens, paper etc) are provided at the studio. Takeaways: Custom sketch book, 10 comic books/zines, class notes, 3+ self-produced zines plus multiples.
