Do you have what it takes to find the missing magical relics?Embark on a quest for hidden relics from your favorite fantastical and speculative adventures in this year's Independent Bookstore Day Scavenger Hunt. How it will work:Upon registration, ticket purchaser will be sent a form to confirm team details. Teams may meet the Quest Master at the Portable Magic mural at 4824 Chateau Avenue starting at 1:30 p.m. to confirm their team and collect their Quest packets. At 2:00 p.m., all teams will gather at the mural for the official start time and collective reading of the first clue. The answers will take the teams around the neighborhood to different landmarks and businesses within a two-block radius. If you think that your clue is taking you inside a certain business, send one representative from your team only. If inside, the relic will have a Guardian to give you your next clue. At each discovered relic, each team will retrieve a token and riddle that, once solved, will reveal the location of the next relic.If you cannot figure out where the next clue is to take you, making a purchase on site will force the Guardian to tell you the location of the next relic. The final clue will lead back to the Bookstore. Teams of up to 5 people may register. Clues will be suitable for ages 12+Clues and relics must remain at their designated spot. Tampering with clues or relics is grounds for immediate expulsion from the competition.
