Join us for our 5th Candid Conversation. This is a new monthly Shine & Rise program. We say new…because we are still finding our way. We want this to be a membership-driven program. That is, if you are interested in learning more about a topic or know someone that would be a great fit for the program related to the mission of Shine&Rise, we highly recommend you volunteer to host the next Candid Conversations. In April, join us for a conversation with Brenda Jones, CEO of Ulendo, about her journey to becoming an entrepreneur and making the decision to seek outside funding for her company Ulendo. Brenda will share her insights about seeking capital from the Belle Impact Fund, a fund whose mission is to generate returns for investors while serving the early-stage capital needs of women-led companies generating social or environmental impact. For spring and summer, Candid Conversations is going to focus on creating a safe space for our members to have candid conversations about fundraising, venture capital, and investing. This was a topic that members said they wanted to learn more about. Pre-registration is required and FREE. Attendees will be encouraged to submit anonymous questions on the topic before the event and participate in a lively discussion during the event.
