FPRA Pensacola Professional Development Meeting Thurs., Apr. 20 at 11:45 a.m. Bowden Building (UWF Historic Trust) 120 Church Street in Pensacola Join us at our new location this month as celebrate our Image Award winners and student scholarship winners. We will also hear from Corey Dobridnia, public information officer for Walton County Sheriff's Office about work-life balance. About our speaker: Corey Dobridnia has been employed as the Public Information Officer at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office since May 2015. In her former career, Dobridnia served as the weekend anchor for WMBB News13 in Panama City and worked as a one-man-band reporter covering Tyndall Air Force Base and Naval Support Activity Panama City among other assignments. Dobridnia graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor’s in Communication and earned a Master’s Degree from Florida State University, Panama City in Corporate and Public Communication. ERAU is also where she lettered in Women’s Volleyball. Dobridnia was awarded the Public Information Officer of the Year by both Florida Law Enforcement Public Information Officer’s Association and Florida Association of Public Information Officers in 2017. In 2022, Dobridnia was named the Non-Profit/Government Communicator of the Year by the Northwest Florida Coast Chapter of Florida Public Relations. This meeting is sponsored by Cox Communications.
