Inspired by the desire to uplift and bring visibility to women working in coffee, we will be hosting a Celebrating Women in Coffee Event! 5 women working in coffee will give 5 minute tiny talks, sharing insights and lessons learned from their careers in coffee. The event will be hosted and moderated by RGC, with the 5 speakers to include: Susan Evenson (Atlas Coffee), Lucia Bawot (Colombian Author), Victoria Lau (Farmer Bros), Rachel Verhaalen (Thornton Coffee), and Arianna Hartstrom (Costa Oro). Timeline of the Day The event will kick off at 4pm with a Happy HourThe talks will start at 5pm With Costa Oro's Warehouse Party to follow at 6pmA shuttle service will be available for attendees, with two scheduled departure times from the Convention Center: 3:15pm and 4:15pm* Shuttle service details will be provided to attendees with confirmed ticket purchases, a week prior to the event. Tickets to attend cost $5 and includes drinks, food, and raffle ticket to win a signed copy of Lucia Bawot's debut photography book, We Belong: An Anthology of Colombian Women Coffee Farmers. With ticket proceeds to be donated to the women farmers that participated in the book.
