Explore the architecture of downtown Canton, Ohio through the eyes of First Lady Jackie Kennedy with National Park Service Rangers. Read a story about Jackie Kennedy's love of historic preservation then go on a short walk and scavenger hunt to find unique architecture elements around First Ladies National Historic Site. Participants will earn a special limited edition Jackie Kennedy Junior Ranger patch! Also, explore the science of restoration with the National First Ladies Library as you clean a penny and learn about Jackie's contributions to the White House. Patches are in short supply and are first come, first serve. This is a free, family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring comfortable footwear and your sense of adventure. The event is 100% outdoors and will happen rain or shine. In the case of lightning or thunder, the event is cancelled. Registration is not necessary to participate.
