The Cost - We are excited to announce Claire Liparulo’s long anticipated album release show at Nice Guys Pizza! Claire will be playing through her emotional and cathartic record backed by the band she made the record with—Rosaline. Claire Liparulo is diverse and dynamic performer. Her songwriting employs a poetic style, painting vivid landscapes. As performer and front-person, she is an engaging storyteller with a sincere authenticity and contagious charisma and a unique ability to connect with almost any audience. Claire, perhaps known locally and internationally as the front woman for reggae/soul/ska band, The Freecoasters, has been performing professionally since the age of 16. Though based in Southwest Florida, she has completed multiple national tours from NYC, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, LA and everywhere in between, with another scheduled May 2023. She has written and recorded a combined 3 full length albums, including her soon-to-be-released debut solo record. Claire has performed on stage with international acts such as The Slackers, The Aggrolites, and has opened for acts including The Toasters, The Skints, The Pietasters, grammy-winning songwriters and more. “She’s a force of nature, pulling in the audience with fierce vocals and a magnetic stage presence…”—Gulfshore Life Notable appearances include: Island Hopper Songwriter Fest, Supernova International Ska Festival, Gasparilla Music Festival, Sugarshack Sessions Katie Lyons walks the line between indie-folk and country music. Her performances boast of originality with influences from Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, and the like. Her music is that of an island hideaway or a lonely honky tonk bar - depends on the tune. Katie's songs are a unique diversion, adjacent from that of a Nashville sound, which holds its own no matter the city. Opening the show is Hunter McDaniel, a gifted Naples-based Berklee alum singer-songwriter and keyboardist who recently released his EP, Halfway in early 2023. His writing and voice are gentle and sincere and his writing is complex and poetic, reminiscent of songwriting icons like Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, and James Taylor.
