On Sunday, April 16th bring the family out for our Spring FUNdraiser at the recessROOM. The funds from this event will benefit Recess Cleveland- a nonprofit organization dedicated to building healthy, active, and connected communities using recess, organized sports, and playful learning. There will be free play, food, and fun raffle baskets (bring cash). The recessROOM is a giant play space that contains over 40 different mini-games. From classic board games to the latest interactive experiences, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The playroom also has a slew of toys that will keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. In addition to the existing games and toys, we're also adding new fun stuff every day. Whether you're a regular visitor or it's your first time, there will always be something new to discover at the recessROOM. Our rotating attractions ensure that there's always something fresh and exciting to enjoy. So come and have a great time with us! What to expect? A typical recessROOM setup includes a couple of bounce houses, music, art, board games, recess games (Dodgeball, Kickball, Gellyball, etc), a loose parts area (giant blocks, fort building kits, etc) and free-play (hula hoops, skip-its, Connect 4, Jenga, etc.). You are free to play whatever game(s) you like at the event, or you could also sit back and enjoy the kids playing. Recess Cleveland is a local nonprofit that builds healthy, active, and social communities using recess and organized sports. Recess is a great way to make new friends, and stay active! How do I sign up for this event? To register, click the green register button or orange tickets button attached to this event invite. Once clicked, please provide the names, and ages of the children attending. Can I bring my own games, ride-on toys, hoverboards, etc to the recessROOM? Sure, of course. We're on the 2nd floor, so text us in advance at 216-242-2282 if you need elevator access. What should I wear? We recommend casual clothes, but feel free to wear whatever you're comfortable with. If you plan on playing some of the physical games (like dodgeball for instance), please wear sneakers or athletic shoes. Where should I park? Free parking is available in our lot at the corner of East 49th and St. Clair also there is free street parking. But what about COVID... Recess Cleveland has spent the past year researching and practicing ways to get out and play safely during a pandemic. Masks are currently optional for all indoor events, and they are also optional at this event.
