Description

We will take a short exploration hike, passing cascading waterfalls as we follow the babbling Blue Mine Brook. We will use nets and magnifiers to discover the wonderful life that flourishes in this freshwater ecosystem. We'll get our feet wet and have a blast together as we search for aquatic life, including salamanders, dragonflies, crayfish and of course, frogs!.  • Drop-off program just for teens and tweens in 6th-9th grade (or equivalent if homeschooled) • Drive in through the outer gate and park near the main brick building • Non-refundable.
