Coming in January 2023, The ABC will host a series of books, readings and discussions at the JTLC & Baldwin’s Bookstore. Starting with Angela Y Davis’ Are Prisons Obsolete, followed by Solitary by Albert Woodfox, finishing with The Abolitionist’s Fieldguide. The ABC will be facilitated by Kali & Mahroh with special guests, snacks and important conversations on how we can co-create a world without prisons. Suggested donation $25 for the series will help buy snacks and supply books to folx who wish to participate but cannot afford books.
