Welcome to Wicks & Wine! In this event I'll give an in-person tutorial on how to create your very own 7oz candle. You'll be provided with a few different scents to choose from and given an explanation on how making candles is both therapeutic and scientific. As we let the candles cool down you'll enter a mini wine tasting which will include 3 black-owned wines and we'll explore the nuances in the industry and between the selections! The teacher of both, Brittany, is a professional candle-maker and gives wine tastings regularly with Drink the District. This is a perfect date night outting or girls night out!
