Join Tracy Aviary educators at Conservation Garden Park in West Jordan for Nature in the City, a series of events full of fun, family-centered crafts and activities. Here's a sneak-peek of the fun we have planned this year: Saturday, March 11th: Bird Walk Join Tracy Aviary educators on a guided bird walk to discover the fantastic birds you can find in your own backyard! Binoculars and bird guides will be provided. Saturday, April 8th: Biodiversity Blitz Nature is all around us every day. Join Tracy Aviary educators to learn more about the vast biodiversity that we can find in our own backyards and how we can be community scientists. Saturday, June 10th: Buzz on Bees Bees, bees, bees! These fuzzy little fliers are more than just stripes and a stinger. Come learn about all the ways that bees help us and the environment around them with Tracy Aviary educators. Saturday, July 8th: Details Detective Nature holds so much to be discovered, if you only take note of the details! Become a details detective with Tracy Aviary educators and represent your discoveries and experiences in your very own nature journal. Saturday, August 12th: Sensing the Seasons Our senses can lead us to amazing discoveries! Come along with Tracy Aviary educators to experience how our senses enhance our exploration and join us in a round of Nature Show & Tell! Saturday, September 9th: Insect Safari Get to know the little critters all around us! Join Tracy Aviary educators on a hunt for local insects and learn the important roles these creatures play in habitats. Saturday, October 14th : Bird Walk Join Tracy Aviary educators on a guided bird walk to discover the fantastic birds you can find in your own backyard! Binoculars and bird guides will be provided.
