Description

Why make a film, and not a play or a book? What makes a film a unique art form? During this workshop, we will explore how to use visual storytelling to create films that use the medium to its full potential. Whether you are interested in writing, directing, camera, sound, or just new to filmmaking this event will give you the hands-on opportunity to grow as a storyteller. Although no equipment is required, we encourage you to bring a camera (smartphones count!), audio equipment, and a laptop for editing. Our location will be Dallas Makerspace, 825 Monetary Ln #104, Carrollton, TX 75006 Meet new filmmakers!
